It’s T+1 but I’m still sitting here in front of the computer, looking up wooden Japanese ofuro (bath) tubs and wondering how we’re going to get one shipped to us from Taiwan (where they make portable ones for a substantially lower price) – a crazy idea considering that I won’t be able to use one for an entire month anyway (if I follow the traditional Chinese postnatal care practices).
But seriously, we are ready to go. The bags are all packed and in the car along with Noah’s infant car seat and stroller.
My belly has “dropped” into a lower position, almost making it hard to balance when getting up or walking. We have been laying low the whole weekend though because our OB isn’t on-call this weekend. But it’s now 2 hours before midnight and Monday.
We’re hoping to get another good night’s sleep tonight but tomorrow, starting tomorrow, we will “move around” actively so that Noah can come sooner.
